Ramsey spent over 10 months sidelined after Ryan Shawcross destroyed his leg with a ferocious foul on the halfway line back in The Welsh midfielder suffered a double leg fracture thanks to the challenge, but it seems that Stoke fans still hold a grudge against him for how he treated Shawcross after the incident.
Shawcross tried to apologise to Ramsey and penned the Arsenal midfielder a letter but Ramsey has reportedly refused to speak to the defender since the foul. Sounds like Stoke fans had their brains broken same day as Shawcross decimated Ramsey's leg. It's his prerogative not to accept Shawcross's apology.
To boo Ramsey is ridiculous. HATE these Stoke fans! Known to be a tricky place to visit, the Gunners seldom showed signs of any nerves, and brushed apart the Potters.
Olivier Giroud scored an impressive brace whsile Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil chipped in with the other two strikes for Arsenal as they raced towards three points. Peter Crouch scored a goal to make it , but Stoke failed to capitalise on it. However, a huge talking point was the reception Aaron Ramsey received when he came on as a second-half substitute for the Gunners. The Welsh international registered an assist, and put on a solid cameo.
He did not receive the warmest of receptions by the Stoke City fans, as they continued to jeer him seven years after his horrific injury he suffered at the arena formerly known as the Britannia Stadium.
Hopefully they go down and never return. Stoke fans being muppets with chants about Aaron Ramsey. Please just get relegated. Stoke City fans sung: "Aaron Ramsey, he walks with a limp. The abuse didn't seem to effect Ramsey though, who alongside Mohamed Elneny put in a man-of-the match performance in the centre of the park.
