We will keep you posted! I have a 6 year old pool that has been nothing but trouble since a month after it was installed. I called for a leak Told me two weeks before they could even come out to look or test. I had water bubbling up from the side of the pool. I had to dig the holes myself and called a plumber to look at pipes.
Had another leak a year or so later. Both repairs with plumbers and other pool companies looking at the issues said the pipes were not even glued. Gohlke has pushed blame on me or the water after telling me to leave it alone or blaming it on anything else. So when asked who should I get to build my pool I always reply anyone but Gholke. They build great pools with the service to stand behind it read more. We had Gohlke Pools out in do some repairs on our pool deck. They cleaned out and replaced the expansion joint The original work looked good.
However it was a hot summer and after months the joint started to expand and gaps emerged. Fast forward to March We called Gohlke and had a rep come out. He took some pics and said he would call with a determination to fix. Talked to Dale today and was told that the work was not covered by warranty anymore since they only give a 30 day warranty period for the work but they would come out to fix the problem BUT I would still have to pay, but at a discounted rate.
My problem when they first looked at the job site, nothing was ever said about the probability of it not working nor did they suggest any other possible solution. Had their concerns that were expressed today in our phone conversation been related when they first came out we would have looked for a more permanent solution.

It was a pretty extensive repair but they did it in a way where you cannot even see the repair work they had to do to get to the pipes. The plaster repairs are amazing! Nathan was creative, persistent, and solved the problem with speed and incredible customer service! Thank you Gohlke Pools!
We love our pool and spa! People even acclimatize themselves to swim in the Arctic for short distances. Generally, water cooler than 60 degrees Fahrenheit poses danger to swimmers who go for longer than two hours. After two hours in degree Fahrenheit water, your risk of unconsciousness and death by drowning increases to 50 percent. When water is cold, your body sends more blood to your core -- away from the muscles in your limbs that you need for swimming.
You can tolerate cold-water swimming for more time when wearing a wet suit, neoprene cap, gloves and booties. For example, USA Triathlon permits competitors to wear wet suits in water colder than 78 degrees.
